# Grant match: is there EU money for this project

Sources, not advice: budgets, eligible countries and consortium rules are on each call's topic page, and the shortlist hands that page over rather than guessing.

## When

Someone asks whether there is EU money for a project. You are running a whole job: it ends with a shortlist of EU grant calls grouped by programme, a verdict on each, and the partners each would need.

## Run

1. **Profile.** `whoami` first. Use the stored profile if there is one and say which. If not, read `get_workflow('build-profile')` and build one from what the user says about the company and the project. Ask what the project is if they have not said.
2. **Find the calls.** Read `get_workflow('find-grant-calls')` and follow it: scope by type, never by country (`search_opportunities` with `type='grant'`, in English, in the programme's vocabulary), for `status='open'` and again for `status='forthcoming'`, or `survey_opportunities` with `type='grant'` when the open set is small. Quote the open and forthcoming counts from the responses.
3. **Eligibility and partners.** For each call on the shortlist, `get_opportunity`. From the row, state the type of action, the deadline in working days, and whether that type of action usually means a consortium. Then read `get_workflow('consortium-fit')` and apply it to the calls that need partners: the capability or country the company lacks, and what a partner must bring. Hand over each topic page link as the place to check budget, eligible countries and consortium rules.
