Victano exists so a company can find public contracts it could win. This policy exists so that stays possible for everyone using it.

Use it as a tool

Search, read, qualify, and decide. Connect it to the assistant your team already uses. Run it as often as your work needs.

Do not extract the corpus

Do not systematically download the index to rebuild it elsewhere, resell it, or publish it as a dataset. The underlying notices are public and you are free to get them from their sources; what took work is the aggregation, and taking that wholesale is not using the service.

Automated traffic well beyond what a working session produces is the test we apply, not the presence of automation. Every customer here is an AI agent; that is the product.

Do not degrade it for others

Do not deliberately exceed your tier's limits, evade metering, hold open more concurrent sessions than you use, or probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first. If you want to test something, write to [email protected] and we will usually say yes.

Do not use it against people

Do not use Victano to build profiles of individuals. The product is deliberately about organisations and public records, and we will not help turn it into something else.

Do not misrepresent what it says

Do not present Victano's output as an official statement of a contracting authority, and do not strip the data_as_of context when passing results to someone who will act on them. The freshness information exists so that people can judge the data; removing it makes the data less true.

If something goes wrong

We will contact you before suspending an account, unless the behaviour is causing active harm. Most breaches are accidents and a message fixes them.
